Helen Mirren made a grand entrance at the 'Colors of Time' premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, wearing a show-stopping Margot McKinney necklace called the Marina Collier. The centerpiece of the accessory is a string of gemstones that altogether weigh over 400 carats, featuring a 241-carat cushion-cut green beryl, a 109.48-carat oval-shaped green beryl, and a 65.72-carat aquamarine stone.

The stunning necklace, inspired by the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea, originally debuted at the 2025 TEFAF Maastricht fair in the Netherlands. The Marina Collier features a range of gemstones, including green beryl, aquamarine, tourmaline, sapphire, diamond, paraibas, and tsavorite (green garnet), set in 18K gold.

Mirren, who is at Cannes as a L'Oréal Paris ambassador, paired the necklace with a black floor-length gown featuring exaggerated shoulders and a turquoise bow belt extending into a floor-grazing sash. She added a statement-making headpiece topped with a floral appliqué and large drop earrings adorned with pearls.

Mirren is known for her bold fashion choices and beauty looks. She has experimented with her hair, dyeing it bold hues, including cotton candy pink and blue. In 2024, she opened up to PEOPLE about embracing her individuality, saying, "We are all individuals and we all have our own individuality. And I think ultimately it's just embracing that and allowing yourself to be what you are."
