JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes Spark Romance Rumors with Cuddly Photos on Mexican Getaway

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are getting close, and their recent vacation to Mexico has sparked romance rumors. The "Karma" singer and the Love Island alum shared a series of cuddly photos on Instagram, captioned "The previous 7 days have been the prettiest."

Sources close to the couple claim they were spotted kissing in a pool at a Mexican hotel, although the photo is hard to identify. Siwa recently told PEOPLE she's "happier than ever right now" following her breakup from ex-partner Kath Ebbs.

In an interview at the Epic Universe Celestial Carpet Opening Celebration at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, Siwa said, "I'm in such a great place. I'm so, so happy. I said to somebody the other day, 'I don't think humans are meant to feel this happy,' and that somebody was like, 'No. I think you are actually.'" She added, "It's good happy."

Last month, the Dance Moms alum opened up to This Morning about her relationship with Hughes, saying it was "platonic" and that they have a "soulmate friendship." However, their recent photos have raised eyebrows, with some speculating about the nature of their relationship.

Hughes described his bond with Siwa as "a soulmate friendship" and said it was his "favorite thing" he got from Celebrity Big Brother U.K. Siwa added that Hughes was a huge support to her on the show, saying, "Having someone in there to go through an experience like that ... when you're emotional, when you're down, when you're happy, that was beautiful."

Meanwhile, Siwa's breakup from Ebbs was a topic of interest, with Ebbs hinting that Siwa's close bond with Hughes on the reality competition series was a factor. However, Siwa denied the allegations, stating, "There's so many reasons why my breakup happened. Christopher is not one of them."
