Kate Hudson is opening up about her experience filming Netflix's Running Point, and it sounds like she had a few bumps along the way - literally!
The 46-year-old actress revealed to PEOPLE that she got a "massive" bruise on her left thigh while filming the sports comedy series, which left her fiancé Danny Fujikawa confused and concerned.
"I was getting into bed and Danny was like, 'Babe, what's going on?' And it was massive," Hudson recalled. "And I was like, 'Oh wait, the drug drawer.' That's all. I have been hitting a drug drawer for like two weeks."
Hudson stars as Isla Gordon, the president of a fictional pro basketball team, in the show. In one scene, her character bangs her leg into a desk drawer, which contains her brother's secret stash of drugs.
The actress also shared that she would often unwind with her castmates after grueling days on set by getting cocktails together.
"A lot of drinking with a lot of boys. We liked our little after-work cocktail," Hudson said.
Hudson was joined by her fellow cast members, including Fabrizio Guido, Drew Tarver, Brenda Song, Toby Sandeman, Scott MacArthur, Chet Hanks, and Max Greenfield, at the show's Emmy FYC event on May 30 in Los Angeles.
