Disney Sued by Former 'Doctor Odyssey' Crew Members Over Allegations of Sexual Harassment and Wrongful Termination

Three former crew members of the Disney+ series 'Doctor Odyssey' have filed a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Caroline Mack, Alicia Haverland, and Ava Steinbrenner claim that their bosses in the props department created an "unlawful den of sexual harassment and retaliation."

The lawsuit, filed on May 30, alleges that Tyler Patton, the assistant prop master, and his male colleagues subjected the women to sexual harassment, including unwanted touching, sexual jokes, and inappropriate comments. The women also claim that Patton's wife, Tammie Patton, who was the prop master, ignored their complaints and retaliated against them.

Allegations of Sexual Harassment

The lawsuit alleges that Tyler Patton made inappropriate comments about sexual practices, including bondage and sadism, and that he openly grabbed a visiting female employee's buttocks on set. The lawsuit also claims that Patton constantly bombarded the women with sexual jokes, innuendos, and unwanted touching.

The women claim that the show's set was "full of inappropriate sexualized comments to and about women" that occurred daily and frequently in the presence of management.

Retaliation and Wrongful Termination

The lawsuit alleges that after the women complained about Tyler Patton's behavior, they were retaliated against by Tammie Patton, who subjected them to "retaliation for complaining" about Tyler's "sexually harassing conduct" and their "mistreatment."

The women claim that they were ultimately "illegally and wrongfully" terminated after voicing their complaints against their boss.

Previous Allegations Against Tyler Patton

The lawsuit claims that Tyler Patton was hired for Doctor Odyssey despite knowledge of prior allegations of sexual harassment against him during his time working on the TV show House.
