Madonna is celebrating a major milestone in her father's life - his 94th birthday. The singer took to social media to express her love and admiration for her father, Silvio Ciccone, who is still going strong at 94.

Madonna's Tribute to Her Father

Madonna shared two photos of her father on his special day. In the first photo, Silvio is seen celebrating his birthday with a large silver cutout of the number "94" behind him. Madonna is standing next to him, smiling from ear to ear. The second photo shows Silvio relaxing on patio furniture, looking happy and content.

Madonna captioned the photos with a heartfelt message, saying, "He has survived many wars and many losses in his life... and he still has a sense of humor and a strong desire to get out of bed every morning and make the most of his day."

Madonna also shared a quote from her father, saying, "Whenever people ask my father when he's going to retire, his answer is always the same, 'I'm going to go until the wheels fall off!!'"

Madonna's Relationship with Her Father

Madonna has always been close to her father, and has often spoken about the importance of their relationship. In an interview with TIME in 1985, Madonna said, "I knew how to wrap him around my finger."

Madonna also told Rolling Stone in 1989 that she cared deeply about making her father proud, saying, "More than anything, I want my father's approval, whether I want to admit it or not."
