Heart's Prized Instruments Stolen Ahead of Show, Band Offers Reward for Safe Return

Rock band Heart has been left heartbroken after a few of their custom instruments were stolen just a day before they were set to perform at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

In a statement, guitarist and singer Nancy Wilson said, "These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they're extensions of our souls." The band is offering an unspecified reward for any information that leads to their safe return.

The stolen instruments include a custom-built, purple sparkle baritone Telecaster guitar with a hand-painted headstock, which was made uniquely for Nancy, and a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin, which holds special significance to member Paul Moak.

Nancy added, "Paul's mandolin has been with him for decades. We're heartbroken, and we're asking for their safe return — no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable."

This isn't the first time the band has faced a setback. In July 2024, Heart's North American leg of their Royal Flush Tour was initially postponed after Ann Wilson announced her cancer diagnosis. The changing tour dates allowed her to undergo surgery and complete a course of preventive chemotherapy.

Now, the band is set to perform their An Evening with Heart tour throughout North America until June 28.
