Justin Bieber is asking fans to focus on themselves and not worry about him. In a recent Instagram post, he responded to a fan shared of a conversation they had with their grandfather.
The screenshot shared included two texts from the contact Grandpa, who wrote, "I am worried about Justin Bieber" and "There is so much heartbreak in Justin's life." Bieber replied, "worry about yourself gramps."
This Instagram comment comes amid a series of cryptic social media posts shared by Bieber and growing concerns for his mental health. In one post, he wrote about "the audacity" of "telling other humans they deserve something" on Instagram.
"Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else's kids. Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn't have," he added. "The audacity. That's not your place. God decides what we deserve."
Days later, the "Stay" singer shared his thoughts on "transactional relationships." "Tired of transactional relationships," he captioned two close-up images of his face on June 8 via Instagram. "If I have to do something to be loved, that's not love."
Bieber elaborated more in his Instagram Stories. "This is how I feel after people keep telling me there's more work to do after I've given everything I have to give," he said. "I don't think any of us can handle hearing, 'You just gotta try a little harder and you will be like me.' It's not true."
"I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there's no end to trying to earn ur spot in this life because I tried. U have everything u need right now," he added.
Weeks earlier, the "Baby" singer went to Iceland, returning to the music studio amid growing concern for his behavior, an insider told PEOPLE.
Fans had also been worried about Bieber smoking weed. In April, a source told PEOPLE that he and wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber were trying to ignore the conversation surrounding his actions.
