Country star Megan Moroney has revealed her dream collaborations with Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

Moroney, 27, who recently announced her second capsule collection with Boys Lie, is currently in the studio working on her next album, which she describes as "lighter and a little more carefree" than her previous records.

When asked about her dream collaborations, Moroney revealed that she would love to work with Olivia Rodrigo, saying, "I would imagine that [our song] would lean sad and angry... I think we would crush an idea like that."

She also expressed her interest in collaborating with Tate McRae, saying, "I'm a fan of them... I've gotten to briefly hang out with both of them, and I think we could come up with something really cool if the opportunity presented itself."

Moroney also mentioned Ed Sheeran as another artist she would love to work with, citing his passion for songwriting and his ability to care about the songs even as a global superstar.
