Benny Blanco's Worst Nightmare: Performing Live
Benny Blanco, 37, shared his thoughts on doing live shows to support the joint album he and fiancée Selena Gomez released in March, I Said I Love You First, during an appearance on the June 3 episode of the Hot Hits with Nic & Loren podcast.
"That's like my worst nightmare," Blanco said of performing. "Doing live shows, like, anytime I had to do SNL or like AMAs I'm always just like, 'When's it over? When's it over?' "
"I just want to be home on my couch," he quipped.

When host Loren suggested that to make performing with Gomez happen, he can get a couch off to the side on a stage and pop out every now and then during the show, Blanco responded, "Honestly, not a bad idea, guys."
The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, announced I Said I Love You First days before Valentine's Day. The album gave "fans a unique window into their relationship," per a press release.
As for a wedding update ahead of the album's release, the music producer and Only Murders in the Building star had none. "I think every day she's planned a new wedding in her head," Blanco told Rolling Stone of the impending nuptials.
