Julia Michaels has nothing but admiration for her collaborator and close friend Maren Morris, calling her "one of the most wonderful women I've ever met in the music industry."
In a recent episode of PEOPLE in 10, Michaels, 31, gushed about Morris, 35, saying, "She's like so down to earth, so humble, so kind. Such a girl's girl, like always rooting for people that she loves."
Michaels, who has collaborated with Morris on three projects, including their latest release "Scissors," couldn't help but praise Morris's kind nature, saying, "I feel like it's rare, but it's really beautiful."
The two artists recently performed together at Coachella, and Michaels revealed that Morris's last text to her was likely a message of encouragement and praise following their joint performance.
Michaels and Morris have a history of creating hit songs together, including "Cut!" from Michaels' EP Intermission, and "Circles Around This Town," the lead single from Morris' album Humble Quest.
