Kate Hudson is reminiscing about the hilarious audition of her co-star Kathryn Hahn, for the 2003 romantic comedy 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days'. In a recent interview with Variety, Hudson recalled Hahn's flustered and sweaty appearance, which ultimately won her the role of Michelle, Hudson's best friend in the film.
Hahn confessed to being late to the audition, struggling to find a parking spot, and being nervous about meeting Hudson, who had just starred in the Academy Award-nominated film 'Almost Famous'. The 'Bad Moms' actress also recalled her phone ringing in the middle of the audition, which added to the chaos.
Hudson described the audition as "one of the great moments of all time" and said that it was the moment she knew Hahn would be her best friend. The two actresses have remained close over the years, and Hudson even referred to Hahn as her "best friend in life".
