Seinfeld's post showed a hand holding a tennis ball with a honey bee on it, alongside the movie's poster, with the comedian's character Barry B. Benson straddling a tennis ball. He captioned the post, saying "Time for a live-action sequel...?"

Bee Movie, which starred Seinfeld and Renée Zellweger, has become a cult favorite since its release. The movie earned mixed reviews from critics but achieved box office success. Seinfeld has previously toyed with the idea of a live-action sequel, even dressing up in a bee costume during the film's promotion in 2007.
