Patriot Mahomes Celebrates His First Father's Day as Dad of 3: 'The Way You Love Us Is Unmatched,' Wife Brittany Says

Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, marked his first Father's Day as a dad to three children on Sunday, June 15. He and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are parents to Sterling Skye, 4, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, 2, and Golden Raye, who was born in January this year.

In a tribute shared on Instagram, Brittany paid tribute to her husband, sharing a selection of family snapshots. "Happy Father's Day to our rock! The most incredible, loyal, and fun dad everrrrrr," she wrote in her caption. "The way you love us is unmatched!"

"You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you," added Brittany.

In the comments section, he shared a short but sweet response, writing, "Love y'all!"

At a training camp press conference in July 2024, the same month Brittany announced she was pregnant with the couple's third baby, Patrick said the pair doesn't plan on having any more kids. "I'm done. I'll say that," the NFL star said while laughing when asked how he plans to manage his business deals and more as a father of three.

He admitted, though, that he considered fatherhood "awesome," as he "always wanted to have kids young."

"I got to grow up in the locker room, I think I've talked about it before — it made such an impact, so I wanted to have kids young," Patrick further explained.

The athlete also credited Brittany with doing a "great job" of being a wife and a mother. "We still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things," Patrick said.
