Garrett Yrigoyen and Wife Alex Welcome First Baby, Cole Wayne Yrigoyen

Former reality TV star Garrett Yrigoyen, who won season 14 of The Bachelorette, has welcomed his first baby with his wife Alex Yrigoyen. The couple announced the arrival of their son, Cole Wayne Yrigoyen, on June 17, sharing adorable photos of their little one on Instagram.

"Hello world! Meet our son, Cole Wayne Yrigoyen Born June 9, 2025," the couple captioned the post, which featured a series of photos, including one of baby Cole gazing at the camera in a yellow pillow, wearing a powder blue and white striped onesie and a striped yellow hat. The new parents also posted photos of Alex breastfeeding Cole in her hospital bed and Garrett grinning as he kissed his son's head from a home bed.

"He made his debut a few days early and our hearts are fuller than we ever imagined. We're still soaking up every second as a family of 3. We love you so much already sweet boy!" the caption concluded.

Support from Bachelor Nation

Garrett's fellow Bachelorette alum Chase McNary, who welcomed his first baby with his wife Ellie in May, shared his support in the comment section. "Let's goo!! Love it! Congrats. Hopefully our dudes can go fishing soon haha," he wrote.

Other members of Bachelor Nation, including Colton Underwood and Chase Brody McNary, also congratulated the new parents.

Garrett and Alex shared the news of their pregnancy with Us Weekly and later posted on Instagram, including a photo of the two of them holding a series of sonogram images. "Our greatest blessing coming June 2025. We couldn't be more excited and grateful," Yrigoyen wrote at the time.

Garrett's Journey on The Bachelorette

Garrett Yrigoyen got engaged to Becca Kufrin at the end of his season of The Bachelorette. However, the couple called off their engagement, announcing in September 2020 that they were separated.

Yrigoyen and apologies for previously liking a series of highly inflammatory Instagram posts, including some that were racist and homophobic. He later said he stood by his previous apology and that Kufrin had "helped me through everything" on an After the Final Rose episode of the series.

Garrett and Alex tied the knot on November 3, 2023, in Oahu, Hawaii. They shared photos from their wedding on their respective Instagram pages.
