Wendie Malick, 74, has shared her delightful experience working with Harrison Ford, 82, on the Apple TV+ series Shrinking, where they play love interests Dr. Julie Baram and Dr. Paul Rhoades respectively.

In an interview on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Dinner's On Me podcast, Malick revealed that she had initial nerves about meeting Ford for the first time but was quickly put at ease by his lovely" nature.

"I felt like I said, 'You're like an old pair of jeans. That's how comfortable I feel with you,'" Malick recalled, adding that the two have "a really good time on set.

The actress also praised Ford's dry wit, saying "He's so dry and loves to sort of play the curmudgeon. But he's a sweetheart and it's been just a gift."

Malick also shared that Ford made her feel "very safe" playing his love interest, despite the potential complexities of the role.

This isn't the first time Malick has spoken highly of working with Ford. In October 2024, she shared that the two had "established a good rapport," making it easier to portray on-screen romance.
