Elizabeth Banks Declares You Can't Pay Anyone in Hollywood to Say a Bad Word About Jessica Biel

Elizabeth Banks has nothing but praise for her The Better Sister co-star Jessica Biel, revealing that she had only ever heard good things about her prior to working together.

"You can't pay someone in town to say a bad word about this lady," Banks tells PEOPLE. "I had only ever heard the loveliest things about Biel, and she completely lived up to that reputation of just being kind and generous and talented and beautiful and fun and easy."

Banks, 51, and Biel, 43, play estranged sisters in the Prime Video series, which premieres on May 29. The actresses had only met briefly before working together, but Banks wasn't nervous about what was to come from Biel, considering she "had reliable sourcing" that working with Biel would be a breeze.

Banks also reveals that the good things she'd heard about Biel were trustworthy because "Hollywood knows" and "we root out the bad ones."

Biel agrees, saying "you can't hide" in Hollywood, and returns the compliment, telling PEOPLE that "there was nothing anyone ever said that was a negative comment about Elizabeth."

The actresses also bonded over the "nuance-y things" that they didn't realize they had in common, including being moms of two boys.
