Tom Cruise has gone viral for playfully roasting a moviegoer for eating all their popcorn before the movie starts. The incident occurred at a screening of his latest film, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.
Cruise was seen entering a movie theater full of fans excited to see the new Mission: Impossible movie. As he stepped on stage, he noticed a fan in the front row who had already finished their bucket of popcorn. Cruise pointed out the fan's empty bucket and jokingly told them to "go get some more".
The fan and the people sitting nearby seemed to enjoy the surprise interaction with Cruise.
This is not the first time Cruise has gone viral for his love of popcorn. Recently, he was seen eating popcorn in a unique way during a screening of Mission: Impossible in London. He also told moviegoers at the NYC premiere of the film that he normally eats two big buckets of popcorn during a movie.
Cruise's apparent love for popcorn has received significant attention online in recent days. Journalist Mike Ryan shared photos of Cruise eating popcorn as he chatted with employees at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City.
Cruise himself reacted to the viral video of him chowing down on popcorn during an appearance on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show with Darius Butler, saying "Man, I'm eating popcorn! They know when I'm going to these movies that I'm watching, I'm eating popcorn".
