A stylist who testified in the music mogul's sex trafficking and racketeering trial revealed how Cassie Ventura started dating actor Michael B. Jordan after her tumultuous relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Deonte Nash, who worked for Combs and Ventura, told jurors that Ventura learned about Combs' infidelity while filming a movie in South Africa in 2015. "Why does he keep humiliating me and trying to ruin my career?" Nash recalled Ventura asking him.
Nash introduced Ventura to Jordan during a break in her relationship with Combs. "I did hook her up with Michael B. Jordan," he testified. "He's fine, she's fine. I mean, why not?"
Under cross-examination, Nash revealed that Ventura and Jordan started talking and dating, getting to know each other more so," he said.
The stylist also testified that he witnessed Combs beat Ventura, pressure her to participate in "freak offs" - elaborate, drug-fueled sexual encounters that sometimes lasted days - and threaten her with releasing sex tapes of her, including to her parents' jobs to get them fired.
