Spike Lee, the two-time Academy Award winner, has made a surprising revelation - he would trade one of his Oscars for the Knicks to win a championship this year.

The director, known for his love for the Knicks, made the statement during an appearance on Inside the NBA. When asked if he would give up one of his Oscars for the team to win a title, Lee responded, "I would give up an Academy Award, Oscar, for the Knicks to win a championship. I got two already, but I'd give up."

Charles Barkley, the retired Hall of Famer, jokingly interrupted, "You're gonna keep 'em!" Lee good-naturedly laughed off Barkley's dismissal of the Knicks' chances to advance to the NBA Finals.

Lee, wearing an orange and blue pinstriped suit and matching fedora, then showed off his more tangible form of hardware - a pendant given to him by Knicks coach Red Holzman, commemorating the team's first title in 1970.

Lee also shared the two other rings worn around his neck - one for being in the basketball Hall of Fame and the other from the Knicks' second championship in 1973.

Barkley couldn't resist another joke, saying, "Wow, I guess they didn't invite you back to the house after you stole stuff."
