Savannah Chrisley didn't waste a single moment after learning about her parents' pardon. The 27-year-old reality TV star revealed on her podcast, Unlocked, that she received a message from someone within the administration about their impending release.
"As soon as I found out that President Trump was pardoning my parents... I had someone within the administration send me a message and say, 'This could happen in two hours, five hours, we're not sure. And I was like 'Alright, I've got to go. I have to get to Florida,'" Savannah recalled.
Savannah shared that she and her friend, Tyler Bishop, jumped on a plane "literally 40 minutes" after receiving the message and headed to Pensacola, Florida. She previously shared that President Trump personally called her to inform her of the pardon while she was shopping at Sam's Club.
A Bittersweet Moment
Savannah described the moment she picked up her father, Todd Chrisley, 56, from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida as "bittersweet." She recalled that the last time she saw her father was when he was walking into prison, away from her. However, this time was different, as he was walking out and towards her.
"I think it was the most emotional thing I think I had ever gone through," Savannah said. "But I was just so blessed and honored and grateful that my dad was coming home."
Savannah shared a glimpse of her father as they headed home from prison on her Instagram Stories, along with an Instagram Reel featuring multiple selfies of herself and her father, set to Jason Aldean's song "We Back."
Meanwhile, Savannah's brother, Grayson Chrisley, 19, picked up their mother, Julie Chrisley, 52, from a separate prison in Kentucky.
