Arnold Schwarzenegger has finally shared his thoughts on his son Patrick's nude scene in the hit HBO series, and it's a shocker!

A "Weenie" Moment

In a conversation for Variety's Actors on Actors series, Arnold, 77, reflected on his own experience of stripping down in front of the lens, which served as a huge breakthrough in his acting career. The Terminator star recalled thinking it was "a shock" to see his son "following my footsteps so closely" more than 20 years after he stripped down on camera in Terminator.

Patrick, 31, bared it all on screen while playing Saxon Ratliff on the third season of The White Lotus, telling his father, "I've done it." Arnold replied, "I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. What is going on here? This is crazy. Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in Conan and Terminator, so don't complain about it.' But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely."

A Family Affair

As White Lotus fans might recall, a nude Saxon got out of bed and walked to the bathroom while his brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola) watched him during the first episode of season 3. Patrick told Men's Health in March that it was his choice to bare it all for the scene, explaining, "When we were shooting the bedroom scene, they had some boxer-briefs that I was supposed to wear, and I was like, 'I'm just going to do this naked.'"

The actor revealed that the decision helped to establish the incestuous dynamic between the brothers, who later have a threesome after a night of partying.

Patrick's nudity wasn't a shock to his mother, Maria Shriver. During an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, she opened up about what it was like to see her son's full frontal scene on the hit HBO series. "People are like, 'Oh my God, you saw!' [and] I'm like, 'I give birth to him.' It's not such a, you know, I've seen him naked," she laughed. "I've seen him naked since he was a baby."
