Jax Taylor Sparks Concern After Claiming He Can "Hear Everything" in Brittany Cartwright's Home

Brittany Cartwright and the producers of The Valley are questioning whether Jax Taylor "bugged" the home to listen to conversations while he was in rehab.

In the June 3 episode of The Valley, Jax Taylor sent a text saying he "can hear everything" Brittany was saying in their house. This raised concerns that Jax may have installed secret devices to listen to Brittany's conversations.

Brittany Cartwright, 36, moved back into the home she shared with Jax, 45, after learning he hadn't paid it in over three months and signed a lease on an apartment from rehab. Brittany set her focus on stability for their 4-year-old son, Cruz.

Knowing Jax installed cameras throughout the house, her first priority was covering them with stickers. However, Jax allegedly hid some cameras so she couldn't reach them.

Brittany called Jax's sister, Jenny, and revealed that her wedding rings had gone "missing." Moments later, a producer for the show got a text from Jax indicating that he had more than just cameras in the house.

"Make sure you get that on film," it read. "I can hear everything. Childish behavior."

Confused, Brittany and the crew wondered how Jax knew they were even filming. "Do you think that he put a bug in here?" Brittany asked.

Jax then called Jenny, who was still on the phone with Brittany. After hanging up to talk to him, she called back and said her brother claimed to be going to the hospital for high blood pressure caused by Brittany covering the cameras.

Suddenly, another message from Jax came through, this time to Brittany. "Jax just wrote me this really long email saying that, 'In terms of the mortgage, I've been trying to contact the bank to pay off what is owed,'" he allegedly wrote. "'But they let me know the home is in foreclosure and after this month, I won't be paying anything more. You will be responsible until we sell the house.'"

Calling him "a fool," Brittany questioned whether his threats were "real or if he's just wanting attention."

Brittany officially filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024 after five years of marriage and welcoming a son together.
