Lizzo Flaunts Slimmed-Down Figure in Leather Corset Minidress at 2025 BET Awards

Lizzo is proudly showing off her recent weight loss journey, and her appearance at the 2025 Awards is proof. The "Truth Hurts" singer, 37, attended the award show on June 9 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, wearing a figure-hugging dress that highlighted her slimmed-down figure.

For the occasion, Lizzo wore a black leather underbust corset that cinched in her waist, creating an hourglass silhouette. She paired the sexy outfit with dazzling jewelry that sparkled with each camera flash, including diamond-encrusted studs, diamond hoop earrings, a Cuban link chain with an oversized diamond-encrusted "Yitty" pendant, and several silver and diamond rings worn on both hands.

Although Lizzo skipped the red carpet for the event, she looked more than happy to be in attendance. Inside the venue, she posed with famous faces for photos, including SZA, Tichina Arnold, Tisha Campbell, Shaboozey, and Jamie Foxx, who was being honored that night with the Ultimate Icon Award alongside Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin.

In April, Lizzo revealed some of her healthy habits that have allowed her to reduce her body mass index by 10.5 and drop 16% of her body fat. Instead of "sugary stuff" in the morning, Lizzo said she now opts for "super savory" foods, like almond butter and toast.

Lizzo's weight loss journey became easier for her to manage due to a shift in her focus on her health and wellness. "I loved to distract myself with people. I loved to distract myself with food. I loved to distract myself with drinking. I loved to distract myself with problems that I would create. And I stopped doing that," she added. "And I just focused on me."
