The Tony-nominated musical adaptation of the NBC series Smash will play its final performance on Sunday, June 22, at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.

The show, which opened earlier this year to strong reviews and enthusiastic fans, will have played 32 previews and 84 regular performances at the time of its closing.

About the Show

Directed by five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman, Smash features original songs by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, including "The 20th Century Fox Mambo," "They Just Keep Moving the Line," and the Emmy-nominated "Let Me Be Your Star."

The score is incorporated into a hilarious new comedic tale from book writers Rick Elice and Bob Martin.

The Cast

Leading the musical is Robyn Hurder as Ivy Lynn, the role Megan Hilty made famous on screen.

Surrounding Hurder is a stellar group of Broadway greats, including Brooks Ashmanskas, who earned his third Tony Award nomination for playing Bombshell's director/choreographer 'Nigel.'

Other notable cast members include Krysta Rodriguez, John Behlmann, Kristine Nielsen, Jacqueline B. Arnold, Nicholas Matos, Bella Coppola, and Casey Garvin.
