Rebel Wilson has shared a harrowing experience from the set of her latest film Bride Hard, where she suffered a severe accident that left her nose cut open and required plastic surgery.

Accident During Action Scene

According to Wilson, the incident occurred on the last night of filming, around 3:00 a.m., when a gun accidentally hit her in the middle of a fight scene. "It wasn't supposed to happen," she recalled, adding that her nose got cut open, and she was rushed to the hospital.

Wilson shared that she spent hours in uncertainty, wondering, "Is my face ever going to be okay?" before a skilled plastic surgeon was called in to stitch up her nose.

A "Really Good" Plastic Surgeon

Wilson expressed gratitude for the surgeon, who came in at around 6:30 a.m. to fix her nose. She even joked that she now part of an exclusive group of actors, including Tom Cruise and Daniel Craig, who have also been injured while filming action movies.

Wilson also shared that she had to undergo laser treatment to remove any potential scarring, but she's proud to have gained some "action-star street cred" from the experience.

Bride Hard: A Hysterical Ensemble

Bride Hard, an action-comedy film, marks a reunion between Wilson and her Pitch Perfect costar Anna Camp. The cast also includes Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Anna Chlumsky, Gigi Zumbado, Stephen Dorff, and Justin Hartley.

The film follows Rebel Wilson's character, Sam, a secret agent who goes undercover as a maid of honor at her friend's destination wedding. However, things take a turn when a team of mercenaries crashes the party, taking the guests hostage and putting Sam in a situation unlike any she's faced before.
