Elijah Blue Allman, the 48-year-old son of legendary singer Cher and the late Gregg Allman, has been released from a California hospital, days after he was admitted for "acting erratically."
According to multiple sources, Allman was released "mid-week" from the hospital, where he was taken on June 14 after authorities found him acting erratically at a home. Police also found drugs at the scene.
Allman's estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, expressed her support for him, saying that he remains committed to sobriety and living with integrity and purpose.
Cher, 79, was reportedly focused on helping her son heal, with a source saying that she was "doing everything she can to help her son and help him get well."
This is not the first time Allman has faced challenges. In December 2023, Cher filed for a temporary conservatorship over her son's estate due to his alleged substance abuse and declining mental health. The two eventually reached a private agreement, and Cher voluntarily dismissed her petition for conservatorship in September 2024.
