Justin Hartley Teases Tracker Season 3 Will Get Into the 'Nitty-Gritty' as His Character Goes 'Deeper and Deeper'

Justin Hartley is giving fans a sneak peek into what's in store for the upcoming third season of Tracker, and it sounds like it's going to be a wild ride.

In an interview with Variety, Hartley revealed that his character, Colter, will be digging deeper into the mystery surrounding his mother's possible involvement in his father's death. "I know we'll get to the nitty-gritty of why my mother hired this guy," Hartley said. "Was she protecting her kids? Was an affair happening? Was the government involved? Was it strictly just my mother? Why did she hide that from us for so long? Why did she lead me to believe that it was my brother who was involved when he wasn't?"

Hartley also hinted that his character will be getting more entangled in the web of secrets and lies. "It seems like this divide-and-conquer thing that she's doing," he continued. "It was just an odd thing to do with your children. There's some deep psychosis there. We'll unpack that."

The This Is Us alum also praised the show's ability to keep fans on their toes, saying, "One of the things I love about our show is it seems like every time we answer a question, there are five more questions." He added that Colter will continue to go "deeper and deeper" into the mystery.

CBS renewed Tracker for a third season in February, and Hartley celebrated the news on Instagram. "Thank you all for watching us," he wrote. "Because of the #trackerbackers we get to make more of these @trackercbs episodes. Here we go!!"
