Kristin Cavallari is opening up about her time on MTV's Laguna Beach and The Hills, including the drama surrounding drug use allegations that she calls "unfair."
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE for their "Reality Rewatch" series, Cavallari broke down some of the biggest moments from her reality TV career, including the season 6 premiere of The Hills where her castmates warned her about rumors of drug use.

Cavallari claims that one of the producers bribed the girls with a Birkin bag to call her out on camera for doing drugs, a claim she has made many times before. "I just felt like that was really unfair," she said of the drama. "It got really messy. All of our lawyers got involved. I threatened to quit the show at one point. It was just really bad. And I was a young kid. I'm not saying I was perfect."
Looking back on the drama, Cavallari has a different perspective. "It took me years to actually take a hard look in the mirror and realize what I could have done differently to avoid that," she explained. "For years, I blamed other people. And finally when I could take accountability and ownership for that is when I could free myself from it."
Cavallari is back on reality TV now with E!'s Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, which follows a live tour of her podcast. She says it's her "favorite experience on a show" and the only one where she can say it was "100% authentic."
