Joy Behar, the 82-year-old co-host of The View, has made a surprising revelation on the show. She set up her daughter Eve with the stage manager of The View, Paul, many years ago.

The topic came up during a discussion about matchmakers and romance on the June 26 episode of The View. Sunny Hostin, Joy's co-host, spilled the tea on Joy's past matchmaking efforts, asking her, "Didn't you hook up your daughter with Paul, our stage manager?" Joy confirmed the setup, saying that Paul "went out with my daughter years ago."

When the camera panned to Paul, he looked embarrassed, and Sunny apologized for putting him on the spot. Paul clarified that the setup was "a long time ago" and that he and Eve didn't end up together. Joy also confirmed that her daughter and Paul only went on a "couple dates" and that Eve is now happily married to Alphonso Scotti, with whom she has a son named Luca.

The hosts also made sure to clarify that Paul is happily married as well. Sara Haines joked that Paul could have been calling Joy "mom" if things had worked out between him and Eve.
