Kelley Wolf, the author and public speaker, was spotted spending time with her friend Josef Kirk Myers, just days after her estranged husband Scott Wolf was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of their three children.
In a short video posted on Josef's Instagram Stories, Kelley, 48, is seen eating at a restaurant with her friend, smiling and joking around. The outing comes as a welcome respite for Kelley, who has been going through a tough time lately.
Earlier this month, Scott announced their split, and Kelley was detained by authorities and taken to a hospital after a concerned friend called 911 about her "escalating mental health crisis." Kelley later confirmed that she was served with a temporary restraining order, which prohibits her from posting about the divorce, their children, or Scott on social media.
The court documents obtained by PEOPLE indicate that Kelley's custody or parent-time was temporarily suspended until a private guardian ad litem can meet with the children and provide feedback to the court. Scott was also awarded sole and exclusive use of their family home.
Kelley has since spoken out about her experience, saying she's "fine" and "happy" after being released from the hospital. She also confirmed that she was placed under an "involuntary 5150," a critical intervention used to detain individuals who are considered a danger to themselves or others or are gravely disabled due to a mental disorder.
Meanwhile, Scott has been sharing photos with their children, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, on social media, calling them his "forever squad."
A hearing on the matter is scheduled for July 1. In the meantime, Kelley seems to be focusing on her well-being and spending time with loved ones.
