Elizabeth Banks, the 51-year-old actress, has had a varied and unexpected career path. In an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Banks shared her experiences working as a waitress, chambermaid, and breakfast, and other unusual jobs.
Speaking about her early days, Banks said, "I started working really young. I've done everything. I was a waitress for a decade." She also shared that she worked as a chambermaid at a bed and breakfast, which involved cleaning toilets.
Banks also shared her advice for people who stay in hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts. "Please stop flushing things other than toilet paper down toilets." She revealed that as a 17-year-old, she had to dig out condoms and tampons from toilets, which helped her build character.
Banks' appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show came ahead of the release of her Prime Video series, The Better Sister, which premieres on May 29. The series features Banks and Jessica Biel as estranged sisters, Nicky and Chloe, who are brought back together after Chloe's husband is brutally murdered, and his teenage son is the prime suspect.
