The 25th anniversary of the BET Awards took place on June 9, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and it was a night to remember. Kendrick Lamar led the nominations with 10 nods, followed by Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, each earning six nominations.

Kevin Hart returned to host the show, promising an unforgettable night with "the ultimate show-stopping performances, powerful moments, and heartfelt tributes reflecting Black culture's depth and richness over the last quarter century."
