Mariah Carey Shines at 2025 BET Awards Performance and Iconic Style

Mariah Carey made a stunning appearance at the 2025, skipping the red carpet but making up for it with her dazzling performance and iconic style.

Carey, 56, took the stage to perform her leading single "Type Dangerous" from her upcoming 16th studio album, and later delighted fans with "It's Like That". Her look consisted of a metallic gold minidress and matching heels, mixed with eye-catching jewelry, including bedazzled hoops and layers of light-catching bracelets.

Later, while accepting the BET Ultimate Icon Award alongside Jamie Foxx, Kirk Franklin, and Snoop Dogg, Carey slipped into a floor-length white corset gown featured a low-cut sweetheart neckline and a diamond necklace topped with a large gemstone, rewearing her stack of bracelets. She also switched up her hair, putting her honey blonde tresses in a half ponytail.

This year's ceremony marks the 25th anniversary of the awards show, hosted by Kevin Hart in Los Angeles. Carey has been ushering in new beginnings, both personally and professionally, celebrating her 56th birthday on March 27 in an ultra-glam fit.

Anderson .Paak confirmed that they have a new collaboration in the works while appearing on Track Star*, only months after .Paak was spotted holding hands with Carey after accompanying her to the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
