Whitney Leavitt revealed that cameras could have been rolling mid-swinging chaos, but the cast had a different reality series in mind before the Hulu reality show came to be.
The Original Pitch
Whitney Leavitt appeared on the latest episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where she spilled the tea on the original reality show pitch. "So it's funny. We, at the time, were all at the same agency and or management group. And we were like, 'Oh, how funny. We have so much drama. How funny would it be if we had like a reality show?'" Whitney recalled.
But, as Whitney explained, there were no bites, and the management was putting it out there, but no one was interested. That was until Taylor's scandal broke out, and everyone wanted a piece of the pie.
The Scandal That Changed Everything
Whitney explained that Taylor's scandal was the turning point that got everyone interested in the reality show. "And then everyone was like, 'Okay, wait a [minute]. Can you imagine if we had a reality show during that time of the scandal? [It] would have just been insane.'"
Whitney also opened up about her husband Conner's changing views on social media and the MomTok world, revealing that they're still trying to figure out how to navigate their new reality as a family.
