Miley Cyrus is getting ready to release her new album "Something Beautiful" on May 30, but it's only the beginning. The Grammy-winning pop superstar previewed her upcoming album and performed for fans at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 27.
During the event, Miley reportedly teased her "extremely experimental" next album, which will be a completely new sound. Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what direction she'll take.
The event, billed as a "Something Beautiful" listening party for fans, featured a surprise performance of tracks including "End of the World," "More to Lose," "Easy Lover," "Flowers" and "The Climb." Tish Cyrus, Brandi Cyrus, actress Anya Taylor-Joy, and more were in attendance.
Miley spoke about "Something Beautiful" being "so reflective of my life and everything I'm experiencing." She also described the album as "just the appetizer" for her next album, which will be "extremely experimental, so have fun with that."
One day after the Los Angeles event, Miley took to Instagram and wrote, "Last night at the Chateau Marmont was so special. Every Smiler in the room was handpicked, and it meant the world to hear you all singing along to new and unreleased music. Thank you for being there, last night really was Something Beautiful."
Something Beautiful is set to come out this Friday, May 30. Its accompanying film premieres at Tribeca Festival on June 6.
