The NFL star and the Olympic gold medalist were set to race each other this weekend in New York City, Lyles revealed.
Tyreek Hill is letting his feelings known about his now-canceled race against Noah Lyles. The Miami Dolphins receiver shared his thoughts on his Instagram Stories a day after Lyles revealed that their face-off was no longer happening.

In subsequent posts, Hill mocked the Olympic gold medalist's original taunt, writing, "Noah could never."
Earlier this year, Lyles, 27, sported a "Tyreek could never" sign after winning his fourth-straight 60-meter final at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, goading the Miami Dolphins receiver as they made plans to face off in a race.
Hill told PEOPLE that he felt like he had to race Lyles "to do this for the guys that play my sport" and show track-and-field runners that football players "can come and take over your sport at any moment if we really wanted to."
On Monday, June 16, the reigning Olympic 100-meter champion shared that due to "personal reasons" and "complications," the duo's upcoming race was canceled.
