Jack Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy, has spoken out against Ryan Murphy's upcoming series 'American Love Story', which focuses on the tragic love story of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

Schlossberg criticized the show for depicting his uncle and aunt without any input from his family, saying that while he appreciates people's admiration for his family, he doesn't agree with how they are 'profiting' from it.

In a video posted on Instagram, Schlossberg explained that his family was not consulted about the show and that there is little they can do to stop it, as JFK Jr. is considered a public figure.

Schlossberg also expressed his hope that the show's creators will take seriously what his uncle stood for and that they will donate some of the profits they make from the show.

For the record, I think admiration for my Uncle John is great. What I don't think is great is profiting off of it in a grotesque way," Schlossberg said.

Murphy's reps did not comment on Schlossberg's claims, but the producer did respond to criticism about the show's portrayal of Bessette, saying that it's unfair to judge the show based on a few photos.

The show, which stars Paul Kelly as JFK Jr. and Sarah Pidgeon as Bessette, is set to premiere later this year.
