Lindsay Lohan is reprising her role as Anna in the upcoming sequel to the 2003 film Freaky Friday, titled Freakier Friday. In an interview with Elle, Lohan, 38, revealed that singing again for the film was "nerve-racking" at first.

The original film featured Lohan's character Anna as a member of the band Pink Slip, and she also sang the film's main song, "Ultimate." Lohan explained that singing in the sequel was different because she was singing as her character Anna, whereas before she felt like she was singing as herself.

In the original film, Anna is a member of the pop-rock band Pink Slip, which will also return for the sequel. Lohan also sang extensively in other films, including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls, and A Prairie Home Companion.

Lohan expressed her excitement about returning to the role, saying, "It's something you don't really think about. And then when you get to do it, and bring a character that you knew so well back to life, in a sense, it's exciting."

Co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Lohan's mother Tess in the original film, also confirmed that the band Pink Slip would be back for the sequel, saying, "Pink Slip is back, let's put it that way."

Lohan also shared that she was touched by the reaction of fans to Pink Slip, saying, "Just seeing the reaction that people had to it, was so heartwarming. Like I almost wanted to cry because I didn't realize how Pink Slip really became so huge."
