Bryce Dallas Howard has shared a heartwarming story about her costar Orlando Bloom's sweet gesture towards her at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.

The actress recalled to PEOPLE how Bloom made sure she felt comfortable while presenting together at the ceremony, saying, "I remember thinking [at the time], 'Oh my God, he is so lovely.'"

"What a gentleman — made sure I didn't trip, made sure I felt comfortable," Howard, 44, added. "And so it was definitely a very positive interaction."

Deep Cover and the Sweet Bond Between Howard and Bloom

Howard and Bloom are currently promoting their new film, Deep Cover, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on Tuesday, June 10.

In the film, Howard plays a down-on-her-luck improv comedy instructor who, along with Bloom and Nick Mohammed, gets recruited to go undercover and bust petty criminals.

Bloom praised Howard, saying, "Bryce is one of the most generous human beings and actors I've got to work with."

"She is so kind, so talented," the Pirates of the Caribbean alum added. "She came in and had her biggest scene on set her first day, with new [script] pages, and just rocked it. She's just a pro and a wonderful human, and I can't speak more fondly of her."
