Jamie Lee Curtis stepped out alongside her husband Christopher Guest at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on Thursday, June 12, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Best in Show, which Guest directed, co-wrote, and starred in.

The actress, 66, flashed a smile for the cameras in a pearl-colored shirt-and-pants ensemble under a black blazer, while her filmmaker husband rocked a classic navy suit with a bold red, patterned tie.

During a Q&A following the screening, Guest opened by shouting out his wife, before telling the audience how he got the idea for Best in Show, which features an ensemble cast including Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Parker Posey, Jennifer Coolidge, John Michael Higgins, Michael McKean, and Jane Lynch.

Guest recalled walking his dog in a dog park and having an encounter with a woman who looked at him with pity because his dog was a mutt. This experience sparked the idea for the comedy, which is presented as a mockumentary spoof on dog shows.

Curtis has been supporting her husband (and vice versa!) both professionally and personally for more than four decades. The couple celebrated 40 years of marriage in December 2024 and share two daughters.

In a sweet tribute on their anniversary, Curtis posted a black-and-white throwback photo from their wedding day in 1984, alongside a more recent snapshot of the couple's shadows on the ground, hand-in-hand, mirroring their wedding picture.

"40 years ago today, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon at 4:30, Christopher and I married," Curtis captioned her Instagram post. "We loved each other but barely knew each other. Today, we know each other really well and still love each other."
