Taylor Armstrong, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has seen her most personal and emotional moments become viral memes on social media. In a recent interview, she opens up about how she really feels about her internet fame.

"Baby, There's No Plane" Memes Take Over TikTok

The latest viral meme to take over TikTok is the "Baby, there's no plane" sound, which originated from a difficult chapter in Armstrong's life when her marriage to husband Russell was unraveling. In the clip, she is describing her situation to costars, including Brandi Glanville. Russell died by suicide in August 2011, just one month after Taylor filed for divorce and publicly accused him of physical and emotional abuse.

Taylor's daughter, Kennedy, 19, has even joined in on the meme, recreating the scene with her friend, which Taylor found hilarious. "She and her friend did a version of it where she falls on the ground and covers her face - it's hysterical," Taylor says of Kennedy.

The "Woman Yelling at Cat" Meme

Taylor Armstrong's viral fame didn't start with the "Baby, there's no plane" meme. She was already an internet sensation with the "Woman Yelling at Cat" meme, which originated from a tense dinner party scene on RHOBH in season 2. The meme features a split-screen image of Taylor sobbing and a confused-looking white cat, named Smudge, sitting at a table.

Taylor still doesn't understand the viral sensation it caused, even after six years. "I sent it to Kyle [Richards] and I'm like, 'I don't get it.' She's like, 'I don't get it either,'" says Taylor.

Embracing Her Internet Fame

Taylor has learned to embrace her internet fame with a sense of humor. She even jokes that she's more famous for the meme than for her time on Housewives. However, she hopes that her work post-Housewives inspires a different legacy for herself.

Taylor is dedicated to helping others, particularly in the area of domestic abuse. She has created a six-week course, The Comeback Club, where she coaches people on recognizing red flags and relationship issues. She hopes to show people that there is a way out of abusive relationships and that there is life after.
