Academy Award-winning actor Charlie Sheen is set to release his memoir, "The Book of Sheen," in fall 2025, exclusively announced by PEOPLE. The book will be published by Gallery Books and is available for preorder now.

In his memoir, Sheen, 54, shares stories about his childhood, growing up on film sets alongside his father, Martin Sheen, and making home movies with his childhood friend, Sean Penn. He also opens up about his struggles with addiction and his experiences with detox and rehab.

“Of all the Hollywood bad boys in history, Charlie Sheen might be the baddest of them all,” said Gallery Books Senior Vice President and Publisher Jennifer Bergstrom. “Now nearly eight years sober, Charlie writes candidly of every detox, retox, drug deal, and adventure along his challenging journey to freedom.”

“My stories have been told for far too long through the eyes and pens of others,” Sheen said in a statement. “I think you'll agree, it's time to finally read these stories directly from the actual guy.”

The memoir is described as a “candid portrait of the complicated, controversial, and one-of-a-kind” actor. Gallery Books calls the memoir both “heartfelt” and “hilarious.”

Sheen's memoir will be published on September 9. Don't miss out on this exclusive look into the life of one of Hollywood's most iconic actors.
