Sadie Stanley Reveals Jackie Chan's Surprising Talent on Karate Kid: Legends Set

Sadie Stanley is cherishing her time working alongside Jackie Chan and was very impressed by one of his surprising talents.

At the New York City premiere of Karate Kid: Legends, which she stars in alongside Chan, Ralph Macchio, Ben Wang, and Joshua Jackson, the actress, 23, spoke to PEOPLE about her favorite moment on set.

The huge fight scene at the end was a daunting task for everyone, and it took a long time to shoot and set up, and hundreds of extras were involved, so it got to be overwhelming, Stanley says.

Stanley's favorite moment on set came in the midst of filming the finale sequence. We were losing morale a little bit and Jackie could sense that. And he got up on this platform, stole a mic from an AD, and started singing, she shares, saying the lauded actor performed a rendition of "I Can't Help Falling in Love."

[He] basically held a concert. I will never forget that — and his voice was beautiful, she continues. "There's nothing he can't do. I'll never forget it."

Stanley grew up watching the Karate Kid movies, she says, calling them a "staple in her household." Now, she's a part of the franchise's legacy, she adds, which is an incredible experience for her.

Chan had a lot of wisdom to share with her, she adds. His 64-year career appeared evident in the way he carried himself on set, Stanley says, which "was really inspiring to me." And despite his international acclaim and accomplishments, Chan is still a down-to-earth guy.

"He's been doing this forever, he's a legend," Stanley says. "Everybody loves him, but he comes onto set, extremely humble, talking to everybody, making friends with the crew, just with the best attitude. And I think that's really rare to see these days, with legends like him."
