Three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas took to social media to call out a spectator who heckled her at a track meet over the weekend and later bragged about it online.

Thomas, 28, finished in the 100-meter race at the Grand Slam Track meet at Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, finishing in fourth place. The heckler shared a video of himself yelling at Thomas during the event, claiming that he caused her to lose.

The man, who uses the username "Mr 100K a day," wrote on social media that he made Thomas lose by yelling at her, and that it made his parlay win.

In response, Thomas quote-tweeted the man, saying that he followed her around the track as she took pictures and signed autographs for fans (mostly children), shouting personal insults.

"Anybody who enables him online is gross," Thomas wrote in response.

The heckler's video also showed him making racist comments towards Thomas, who is Black, about being engaged to a white man. Several people around him could be heard yelling to Thomas "don't listen to him" and "ew" in response to his comments.

Thomas also replied to several supportive comments on her post, calling the man "a weirdo."

In another post, Thomas said she "wasn't even going to tweet about it but [did] since he's bragging."

"Honestly the heckling is tolerable, it's following me around the stadium that's wild," she wrote in another post.

A spokesperson for Grand Slam Track told PEOPLE in a statement that the organization is investigating the incident and working to identify the heckler.

"Grand Slam Track is conducting a full investigation into the reprehensible behavior captured on video," Grand Slack Track spokesperson Callum Squires said in a statement.

"We will implement additional safeguards to help prevent incidents like this in the future. Let us be clear, despicable behavior like this will not be tolerated."
