Joanne Quintana, the owner of the famous New Mexico home used as Walter White's house in Breaking Bad, has had enough of the never-ending fan visits. An Instagram creator, @santi.s._, brought his viewers along to visit the famous Walter White house, offering a glimpse of what Quintana has to deal with avid fans flocking to the property every day.
The video shows Quintana dealing with fans who flock to her property. In one clip, she appears to spray fans with a hose as they look at the house from behind a tall metal gate.
In the next clip, she's seen seated in a chair in her front yard as she addresses the fans taking pictures. "You can take a picture from that corner, do not get close," she says, adding, "and no tripod, no nothing, just a quick snap and leave. One picture, then you go."
As she appears to see more fans approach the property, she stands up and waves them away while saying, "Back up, cowboy."
The video concludes with Santi posing beside Quintana in front of the house, along with the caption, "Super sweet lady."
Quintana has been vocal about the overwhelming attention her longtime home gets because of the series, leading her to eventually put it up for sale. The home is currently on the market for $4 million.
In an interview with local outlet KOB 4 Eyewitness News in January, Quintana said her late parents, Fran and Louis Padilla, purchased the home back in 1973. She grew up in the four-bedroom, one-bathroom, 1,910-square-foot abode with her siblings.
The constant attention was becoming too much for them, especially when fans started playing practical jokes related to the show, some of which went a little too far.
Average of 300 cars would drive by the property each day, leading Quintana and her family to look at other options.
