Former NFL star Antonio Brown is reportedly wanted in Miami on an attempted murder charge stemming from a shooting in May, according to documents obtained by the Washington Post.

Brown, 36, had a warrant signed by a judge on Wednesday, June 11, in Miami-Dade County, stemming from a shooting during a celebrity boxing match. The warrant reportedly lists a charge of attempted murder with a firearm, and Brown's bond is listed at $10,000, requiring him to remain under house arrest until a pending trial.

The shooting occurred on Saturday, May 16, around 3 a.m. after a boxing event hosted by streamer Adin Ross. Video footage from the evening captured by witnesses shows the retired wide receiver throwing punches during an altercation with multiple people. In one moment from the scuffle, Brown can be seen falling over alongside a security guard who he proceeded to kick.

Brown claimed on X that he was "jumped by multiple individuals" who wanted to steal his jewelry, and suffered from CTE. "I got CTE, I blacked out," he said on the stream. "I blacked out, Adin. I don't know what happened."

According to the Washington Post, the warrant for Brown signed on Wednesday says patrons at the scene told officers the former NFL star was the one who fired the shots. The warrant also reportedly says Brown had no weapon on him when officers patted him down, but "two spent shell casings and an empty gun holster" were discovered by investigators.
