Jeff Goldblum, the 72-year-old actor, has revealed the one celebrity who made him feel "starstruck," even after meeting dozens of major celebrities. During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Friday, June 13, Goldblum opened up about meeting Paul McCartney backstage at George Clooney's Broadway show.

According to Goldblum, he was very excited to attend the play and meet the cast, including McCartney. "I was very excited... After the play, I was looking and [McCartney and I] both got a chance to go backstage and meet George and the cast," he told Meyers.

Goldblum recalled how McCartney immediately recognized him and offered to take a photo together. "He said, 'Jeff, Jeff Goldblum. I love Jeff Goldblum. Come here, Jeff, let's take a picture,' and all that stuff," he recalled. "It made my life and my year."

Goldblum also shared a story from when he was a kid, telling the Late Night audience about his love for the Beatles and how he used to listen to their songs with his friends. "I was a kid when 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' and 'She Loves You,' came out," he said, sharing a few lyrics from the 1964 track.

The actor also joked about his bad habit of name-dropping the many celebrities he's met over the years. "I impress my own self with a lot of the people that I seem to have rubbed shoulders with," he told Meyers. "I have to, as a matter of fact, restrain myself from taking reflected glory and saying, 'Hey, you know who else I met? You know who else I know? I seem to like that. I shouldn't do that. And starting here and now, I won't."
