The Maine native, Jordon Hudson, is having a relaxing start to summer in California, one month after her whirlwind pageant experience in May.

Hudson shared a photo of herself vacationing in California, a destination cross-country from her home in Maine. The New England native lounged in the sun, wearing a vintage '60s bikini and holding a fruity drink. Chips, guac, and french fries were plated alongside her.

Her caption, "Maine girl takes on California (ironically)," has raised a few eyebrows, with some taking it as a subtle nod to her recent experience participating in the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant, where she came in third place during the finals of the event.

During the competition, Hudson lost to Shelby Howell, who many have speculated is actually from California, not Maine. (Hudson is a Maine native, originally from the town of Hancock.)
