New Kids on the Block member Jonathan Knight revealed on Instagram that HGTV has cancelled his show 'Farmhouse Fixer' after three seasons. The musician claimed he found out during his Las Vegas residency with New Kids on the Block.
In a promotional photo for the show, Knight wrote, "Having the best time doing my residency in Vegas with NKOTB. A lot of you have been asking about the future of Farmhouse Fixer. I am sad to say HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season."
Knight expressed gratitude to his fans and co-star Kristina Crestin, saying, "We are so proud of what we created together and look forward to sharing what's next for us."
'Farmhouse Fixer' followed Knight and Crestin as they renovated farmhouses in New England. The show also spawned a spinoff series, 'Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp', which aired in 2024 with Knight's brother Jordan Knight.
This is not the only HGTV show to be allegedly cancelled this week. Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson announced that their show 'Married to Real Estate' was cancelled after four seasons, while Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas alleged that their show 'Bargain Block' might not be airing for much longer. Izzy Battres also shared that his show 'Izzy Does It' won't be returning for another season.
It's been a tumultuous week for HGTV, with multiple shows being cancelled in a short span of time. Fans are left wondering what led to these decisions and what's next for their favorite shows and hosts.
