The couple, who star in the reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, have been open about their relationship struggles, including their experience with ketamine therapy, which was shown on the second season of their reality show.
Trying Unconventional Methods
Zac revealed that they tried a spiritual healer and even took a weed gummy together, which didn't exactly go as planned. "We took like ten times the dose we were supposed to take, and we were in a different universe and didn't know where we were," Zac said, laughing.
Jen added, "I thought I was dying, I needed to go to the hospital." Zac continued, "Jen passed out... Jen asked to call 911. She thought she was dying."
Despite the chaos, the couple has found that trying different therapy methods has helped them grow and communicate better. Zac said, "Therapy has been a major source of growth for us, and it's given us insights into ourselves that we didn't previously have."
Working Through Issues
The couple has been working through their issues, including Zac's anxiety and frustration. Zac said, "I've learned to take a step back, regulate myself, and come from a place of love and respect." He added, "I've learned to take my medication, take 20 minutes by myself, and think about how I want to show up and talk to my wife."
Jen praised Zac's openness to trying different methods, saying, "Zac and I will definitely have a lot to work on, and ketamine therapy is supposed to reset a lot of past traumas or habits you've created."
